Channel 7 - KATV Service Loss Notice

Following the collapse of its broadcast tower near Redfield on January 11, 2008, KATV rebuilt its facilities on Shinall Mountain in western Pulaski County. On February 20, 2009, KATV began broadcasting a full-power digital signal from its new 1,250-foot tower, bringing the beauty of digital television to many more viewers in the Natural State.

However, as a result of the move, some viewers in the southern part of our market may no longer be able to receive KATV's new signal over-the-air on digital channel 7.1.

The areas most affected include portions of the following counties:

Arkansas
Bradley
Calhoun
Clark
Cleveland
Desha
Drew
Lincoln
Monroe
Ouachita
Phillips
St. Francis
Woodruff
